About Achduchil

Achduchil is the main starting point for the Laggan Wolftrax mountain biking trails, but there is also plenty for walkers, as well as access to the Haflinger pony trekking centre.

There are a number of forest walks on offer that are clearly marked and easy to follow. Further information on the various walks can be obtained from the Laggan Community website.

The Laggan Wolftrax mountain biking trail network offers something for all abilities of rider. The funpark is guaranteed to put a smile on your face with berms, table tops and double jumps that drop you back at the car park.

The park has been designed to cater for most abilities of rider and there is a shuttle service on offer at the weekends to transport riders to the top of the funpark if you just fancy going downhill all day.

A coin operated bike wash facility is available next to BaseCamp MTB cafe and bike hire.

How to get there:

Laggan is the nearest town or village.

Heading north from Perth, or south from Inverness, on the A9, turn off at Dalwhinnie on to the A889 towards Laggan Bridge (6.8 miles). Turn left on to the A86 towards Spean Bridge. Achduchil is about one mile along on the left-hand side.

This facility is run by Halflinger Pony Trekking who are based within the main car park. There are dedicated trails for the ponies ensuring their is no conflict with the other forest users. See The Haflinger Trekking website for more details.
