South Loch Ness Carpark
 

The carparks on the south side of Loch Ness in Erchite forest all have picnic tables, views and access to the lochside. From this carpark, there is a view of Urquhart Castle on the other side of Loch Ness and a short walk to the ruin of the 'Change House', a nineteenth centuary staging post for travellers.

How to get there:

South Loch Ness Carpark is in Great Glen Woods which is part of Great Glen Forest. Inverness, Dores, and Foyers and Fort Augustus are the nearest towns or villages.
