From the car park you can visit the Tain Hill forest walk with its superb views over the Firths, or the Ardross cycle routes, which offer even better views.

If you want to explore the rest of the forest an open access map is available, please contact the Golspie District Office, Tel. 01408 634063.

How to get there:

Tain Hill is part of Easter Ross. Tain is the nearest town or village.

The wood is at the end of the road signposted 'Jubilee Drive' on the Tain bypass (A9).

I love this area with my Bike and Dog but always come across someone who is a little lost as to how far away car park etc is especially on the Aldie to Ardross forestry road,so agree some sineage would be a good idea.Thanks to the FC for such a great resource.

Tain Hill wonderful place, views terrific you can wander for miles and because of the height difficult to get lost!
