About Tain Hill

From the car park you can visit the Tain Hill forest walk with its superb views over the Firths, or the Ardross cycle routes, which offer even better views.

If you want to explore the rest of the forest an open access map is available from the Dornoch Forest Office.

How to get there:

Tain Hill is part of Easter Ross. Tain is the nearest town or village.

The wood is at the end of the road signposted 'Jubilee Drive' on the Tain bypass (A9).
