About Rumster Carpark

This area provides car park access to trails in Rumster Wood.

There is also a viewpoint.  Look out for buzzards, roe deer and the remains of longhouses and brochs as you walk round the trails.

How to get there:

Rumster Carpark is in Rumster which is part of Caithness.
By road from the south, follow the A99 heading towards Wick. Just before Lybster, take the turning marked Achavanich, and follow the road for five miles until you reach the sign-posted Forestry Commission car park on your right.
Lybster is the nearest town or village.
