This is the access point for the Castle O'er Walk.

How to get there:

Castle O'er Car Park is in Castle O'er Forest which is part of Forests of the Southern Uplands.
Reach Eskdalemuir on the B723 from Lockerbie, or the B709 from Langholm, then head south on the minor road to Castle O'er.
There are separate car parks at Bessie's Hill, Castle O'er and Kings Pool, with walks starting from each one.
The nearest train station is in Lockerbie.
Eskdalemuir, Lockerbie, and Langholm are the nearest towns or villages.
