How to get there:

Penninghame Pond is in Galloway Forest Park.
From Newton Stewart follow the A714 towards Glentrool. Pennighame Pond is situated roughly 4 miles along this road on the right hand side. There is a short stretch of forest road to follow to the car park once you have turned off the main road.
Newton Stewart is the nearest town or village.

a beautifull place,the day we went there it was very calm.the pathways are well laid out to let anyone get round.a hidden jewel in the galloway forest area
