About Knockman Wood
A lovely walk whatever the weather!
Enjoy a relaxing stroll in a wood steeped in history. If you are quiet you may be lucky enough to see Fallow or Roe Deer grazing and on a warm day, keep a look out for butterflies and the pleasent songs of the many birds that make this wood their home.
How to get there:
Knockman Wood is in Galloway Forest Park.
From Newton Stewart follw back road from Minnigaff to Bargrennan. Look out for brown tourist sign.
Newton Stewart is the nearest town or village.
