About Bluebell Woods

An ancient oak wood that has stood on this hillside for hundreds of years. The beautiful flowers and majestic oak trees are home to lots of woodland wildlife.

This woodland is also known as the Garscadden Wood Local Nature Reserve.

How to get there:

Bluebell Woods is part of Drumchapel Woodlands. Clydebank, Knightswood, and Bearsden are the nearest towns or villages.

By car, from Glasgow city centre travel west along Great Western Road (A82) to the Drumchapel flyover. Head through Drumchapel town centre, on Kinfauns Drive and take a left after the Police station into Peel Glen Road.

Then take second right into Drummore Road, Bluebell Woods can be accessed from Peel Glen Road, Drummore Road or Chesters Road.
