Recreation at Bishops Estate
 

Get away from it all without leaving the City! Do you like walking, cycling, horse riding or spotting wildlife? Come and visit these wonderful woodlands spread throughout Greater Easterhouse and take in some fantastic views of the City and surrounding countryside!

How to get there:

Glasgow and Easterhouse are the nearest towns or villages.

The woodlands are in the Greater Easterhouse area, which can be accessed from junctions 9, 10 and 11 of the M8.

What's of interest
We've been working hard with local people to give the woodlands a facelift! The paths are much better, we've put seats in and we've been opening up the woods. In summer 2006 we put in waymarking for trails and printed a leaflet to help you find your way about. Contact us for a copy.
