Langamull
 

Langamull is a commercial forest stretching north and south of the main Dervaig/Calgary road. The northern block of woodland acts as a protective blanket of many archaeological sites including the deserted township of Kildavie and associated sheep fanks.

How to get there:

Dervaig is the nearest town or village.

From Tobermory, travel towards Dervaig on the B8073 for a distance of about 6 miles. Continue travelling through the village of Dervaig on the B8073, for a further distance of around 3 miles. The wood is signposted on the right hand-side of the main road.
If travelling from Salen, towards Tobermory on the A848 turn left towards Dervaig at Aros Bridge about 1.5 miles out of Salen.Travel through Glen Bellart for a distance of 9 miles. On reaching the village of Dervaig turn left onto the B8073 and continue towards Calgary for about 3 miles. The wood is signposted on the right hand-side of the road.
