About Glen Aros Car Park

This is the access point for the Glen Aros Woodland walk, a short, attractive trail, with an old graveyard dating back to the Middle Ages.  

The car park has a picnic table, and space for about 10 cars.

 

How to get there:

Glen Aros Car Park is in Glen Aros.
On leaving Salen, travelling in a northerly direction and heading towards Tobermory on the A848. At a distance of about two miles from Salen and about half a mile from the turn-off to Dervaig, there is a turn off on the left hand-side to the Forestry Commission Scotland Offices.
Drive about 500m along the forest road to the Glen Aros Car Park.
Salen is the nearest town or village.
