Fishnish Car Parks

This woodland is situated on the Fishnish Penninsula overlooking the Mull to Lochaline ferry terminal. This is the starting point for a circular walk and a through route to our picnic site at Garmony. Close by is the historic harbour of Ceadha Leth Torcail (the pier of Torquils half-share). The old slip was used to load cattle which were shipped across the sound to join cattle droves from Ardnamurchan on to Falkirk in the lowlands.
