About Fishnish and Garmony

These two blocks of conifer woodland offer a variety of opportunities for the walker. The coastal walk between Garmony and Fishnish offers the chance to admire the views, but also to spot some of Mull's more secretive wildlife, such as otters and porpoises plus a variety of bird life.

Other walks pass close by deserted townships.

How to get there:

Craignure is the nearest town or village.

Fishnish and Garmony are on the Island of Mull. The Garmony end of the coastal walk is on the A849, four miles north of Craignure.

Fishnish can be reached by travelling north on the A849 from Craignure for a distance of six miles.

At this point there is a turn of on the right hand-side signposted for the Fishnish Ferry. Follow this road for about a mile until it reaches the coast.
