About Strone

An enchanting mixed woodland dominated by oak lying alongside the River Lochy.

This woodland is being managed for nature conservation in a number of ways.  We have recently removed the exotic conifers.

How to get there:

Strone is part of Glen Orchy and Glen Lochy. Dalmally (3 miles) and Tyndrum (12 miles) is the nearest town or village.

Strone is on the south side of the A85, three miles east of Dalmally.

The nearest train station is Dalmally.
