About Fearnoch

A diverse, working woodland which is being transformed by planting of a variety of species and development of recreational facilities.

For your own safety, please be aware of timber lorries using the forest roads and observe all prohibition and warning signs.

How to get there:

Fearnoch is part of Fearnoch. Taynuilt (2 miles) and Oban (12 miles) is the nearest town or village.

From Oban, take the A85 towards Taynuilt. Fearnoch Forest entrance lies 350 yards down the hill past the sign for Fearnoch Village. Please do not use the village road - this is access to the village only.

From the south, take the A85 from Tyndrum to Taynuilt. The forest entrance lies just east of Fearnoch village on the A85(T), two miles west of Taynuilt.
