About Eredine

Set along the east shore of Loch Awe, Eredine wood offers trails for walkers and cyclists along the shore of Scotland's longest loch or through impressive old conifer woodland.

With great fishing, wildlife watching and horse riding opportunities available, Eredine has something to offer everyone.

How to get there:

Eredine is part of East Loch Awe. Ford is the nearest town or village.

From Glasgow, follow the A82 to Tarbet then the A83 to Inveraray.

From Inveraray take the A819 Oban road. At Cladich take the Portsonachan/Eredine road. Follow the road through Portsonachan and Eredine to the Ardray car park.

From Lochgilphead, follow the A816 north to the Ford junction. Follow the B840 to Ford then take the Eredine turn-off. The Ardray carpark is on the left before you reach Eredine.

I live in Ford (8 miles away) and have no idea what walking is available in Eredine. Please display a map on the page with some basic info like distances, location and difficulty of trails. How can I make a decision to go without any of that essential information?
