Recreation at Corlarach

Rising above the Firth of Clyde to the east and Loch Striven on the west, these waymarked routes offer glorious views, rich in wildlife and a chance for a good stretch if you feel like it.

How to get there:

Corlarach is part of Corlarach. Dunoon is the nearest town or village.

There are two equally appealing approaches to Corlarach with access to Kilbride, Glenmorag or Ardyne carparks from Glasgow. By car ferry from Gourock to Dunoon, turn left, then follow the A815. By road, follow the A82 along the western shore of Loch Lomond through Tarbet, entering the Argyll Forest Park at Arrochar, onto the A83, then follow A815 to Dunoon.

For public transport information follow the Traveline Scotland link under the Useful sites section opposite.
