About Carradale Network Centre

Carradale was once a busy fishing village and a popular holiday destination served by the Clyde steamers.

There is still a small fishing fleet but more recently forestry has had a strong influence on the village with large-scale afforestation beginning in the early 1950s. The history of the village is illustrated at the Network Centre which is open from Easter to October.

How to get there:

Carradale Network Centre is in Cnoc nan Ghabar which is part of Carradale.
Travel along the B842 from Campbeltown or Kennacraig to Carradale. Then follow the B879 towards the harbour. The Network Centre is about a quarter of a mile along this road on the left.
Carradale is the nearest town or village.
