Sutherland's Grove

About Sutherland's Grove

Sutherland's Grove hosts a number of enticing forest walks through mixed woodlands including a grove of huge douglas fir trees planted in the 1870s along the Abhainn Teithil Burn.

The waterfalls and gorge cut by the river are a spectacular focal point to this diverse woodland.

 

How to get there:

Sutherland's Grove is part of Barcaldine. Barcaldine is the nearest town or village.

The forest is on the A828 Connel to Ballachulish road, north of Connel and Benderloch, or just south of the Creagan Bridge.
