About Beinn Lora car park

Please note that due to recent storm damage the trails at Beinn Lora are closed. We will notify you when they are to re-open.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

A choice of trails are available from the car park, all of which give views over the Firth of Lorne.

Visit the Eagles Eyrie viewpoint or walk to the top of the forest and on to the summit of Beinn Lora.

How to get there:

Beinn Lora car park is in Beinn Lora which is part of Barcaldine.
The car park is situated next to Ledaig Motors filling station in the centre of Benderloch on the A828 Oban to Fort William road.
This is the start of two woodland walks with steep climbs but fantastic views over the Lynn of Lorne.
You can park here for access to the open hill and walk to the summit of Beinn Lora.
Benderloch is the nearest town or village.

The car park is next to a filling station and grocers shop in the village of Benderloch. A small cafe situated close by is also open during the summer season.
