About Glen Donich
This circular walk starts from opposite the Lochgoilhead Primary School. Picnic tables are available for recreation.
For the more adventurous there are two hill routes, one which takes you to Coilessan Glen - above Loch Long, the other to Glen Croe - above Arrochar.
See also our pages on forests around Dunoon.
Please note that the Tom á Chluig walk here has now reopened. Harvesting work is still ongoing in the area but should be well away from the path.
How to get there:
Glen Donich is in Loch Goil which is part of Argyll Forest Park. Lochgoilhead is the nearest town or village.
Take the A82 along Loch Lomond, then follow the A83 over the Rest and Be Thankful, and take the B828 to Lochgoilhead.
