How to get there:

Dunoon is the nearest town or village.

By road from Glasgow follow the A82 along Loch Lomondside. Then follow the A83 over the Rest & Be Thankful,towards Oban, Inveraray & Dunoon. Turn onto the A815 towards Dunoon. After passing through Strachur & Glenbranter, you will reach the Loch Eck. Loch Eck is truly the jewel of the Argyll Forest Park, a long, narrow, gently winding ribbon of silver, which at its deepest is 42m. The west shore offers a very fine long excursion on foot or by cycle, through varied woodland and open farm ground.
