Ardgartan Visitor Centre
 

Welcome to the visitor centre

Returning to sea level, from Arrochar the A83 road swings round the head of Loch Long to Ardgartan.

Easily accessible for all

The car parking facilities are easily accessible for all users for picnicking, walking & cycling adjacant to the final tumbling of the Croe Water before it reaches Loch Long. The Forestry Commision has laid out its campsite by the loch shore, with boat launching facilities.

How to get there:

Ardgartan Visitor Centre is in Ardgartan which is part of Argyll Forest Park. Arrochar is the nearest town or village.

Follow the A82 along the western shore of Loch Lomond through Tarbet entering the Park at Arrochar then follw the A83 for 3 miles to Ardgartan.

HOURS OF OPENING: 10.00 - 05.00. The Ardgartan Visitor Centre will be open from Monday 17th March to Friday 31st October 2008.(inclusive).
