Clune Wood Entrance
 

The local community are closely involved with the management of this wood, and there is and information board and two waymarked trails where you can follow the stories developed by the children of the local school.

How to get there:

Clune Wood Entrance is in Clune Wood which is part of The Durris Forest. Drumoak, Peterculter, Banchory, Kirkton of Durris, and Woodlands of Durris. are the nearest towns or villages.

From Drumoak, head south across the River Dee at the Park bridge. When you reach the B9077 south Deeside Road, go straight across the road, and follow the unclassified round to the right. Clune Wood is roughly 2km along this road on your left.
