The Durris Forest

 

The Durris Forest is made of the Durris Forest itself and several smaller outlying woods. Most of these small woods do not have waymarked routes, but walkers are welcome in all the woods. The community group Friends of Durris Forests are actively involved in the management of Durris.

How to get there:

Banchory, Stonehaven, Kirkton of Durris, Woodlands of Durris, Denside, and Maryculter are the nearest towns or villages.

The Durris Forest lies south of the River Dee, between Banchory and Maryculter.
