Quarry Car Park

This car park is in the middle of the wood, just off the public road.

It has room for a few cars, and gives access to a grassy picnic area set within the old quarry. The paths within the wood are not waymarked, but there are signposts and mapposts to allow you to follow the paths.

You can download a map of the trails in the wood from the 'what's of interest' panel on the right of this page.

How to get there:

Quarry Car Park is in Dunnottar Woodland Park. Stonehaven is the nearest town or village.

Take the A957 from the centre of Stonehaven heading south. Take the first unclassified public road to the right after leaving the built up area behind. Turn right at the next junction and first right again along a short track which leads to a small car park.
