Fetteresso

Some of the trails in Fetteresso are closed for harvesting work. Signs tell you which routes are affected.

Fetteresso is a very large forest which spreads out between Drumtochty forest and the Slug Road between Stonehaven and Banchory. There are three waymarked Forest Trails, suitable for horse riding, cycling and long walks, and links into the waymarked trails in Drumtochty. There are great views of the varied landscape within the forest, as well as the views out to the coast.

How to get there:

Fetteresso is part of Fetteresso Forest. Auchenblae, Drumlithie, Stonehaven, Banchory, and Strachen are the nearest towns or villages.

Fetteresso lies between Stonehaven, Banchory and Fettercairn. There are three car parks, and details how to get there are given under each one.
