Kirkhill Car Parks

The main car park is at the south end of the forest, just off the A96 (Aberdeen-bound side) and has spaces for buses and larger vehicles as well as for cars.

What to do

There are two waymarked walks from the car park, as well as a waymarked cycle trail (suitable for horses too). There is also a fun bike park by the car park which has recently been upgraded.

East Woodlands Car Park

There is a smaller car park at the north end of Kirkhill which gives access to the main cycle and horse riding trails. It is a quieter car park and so we suggest that horse riders use this car park to load and unload horses.
