Colour rating today: turned golden turned golden
The ancient Wyre Forest produces some of the most fantastic Autumn colours in the Midlands. The magnificent oak trees produce a rich harvest while the forest floor is alive with a huge variety of colourful fungi.

The huge Douglas firs produce the perfect back-drop for the rich variety of colourful broad leaved trees found around the visitor centre and way-marked trails.

How to get there:

Wyre Forest is part of Wyre Forest Area Woodlands. Bewdley is the nearest town or village.

The Forestry Commission Wyre Forest Visitor Centre is located at Callow Hill 3 miles west of Bewdley on the A456. The site is well sign-posted. Nearest train station is Kidderminster.Bus routes 192/292 between Birmingham and Ludlow.
