About Oversley Wood

This woodland is bursting with wildflowers, a real treat to visit. Follow one of the circular walks to explore the wood.


Wheelchair users will need the padlock combination code if accessing the wood from the car park, phone 01299 266302 for details. There is an alternative all ability access from Alcester via the bridleway in the northwest corner of the woodland.

How to get there:

Alcester is the nearest town or village.

Oversley Wood is on the south side of the A46 between Alcester and Stratford-Upon-Avon.

Went for a walk at 8.00pm last night (29.4.2009) and the bluebells were stunning with the pale evening light shinning through the trees. An encounter with two female roe deer who we watched for over 5 minutes rounded off a lovely evening.
