Very eerie feel to these woods. I walked through a farm nearby which wouldn't have been out of place in Deliverance. Loads of old engines and vehicles rusting away with corrugated steel workshops. Did spot a lovely old Jag in great condition though. Nobody about but lots of sign of activity. I do have a fertive imagination. Anyway back to the woods. They were pine woods with lots of pathways so fairly easy to get lost. Very peaceful only met some local guys on the entry/exit to the woods at Old Arley.

I have walked and played in the woods as a child and now my children enjoy them long may they be made available for the enjoyment of locals and visitors alike
