The car park is the gateway to the newly planted community woodland. The new woodland blends nicely into the ancient semi-natural broadleaf woodland of the original Wombwell Wood.
How to get there:
Woodhead Lane Entrance is in Wombwell Wood.
From Wombwell High Street take B6096 Hough Lane, west towards Jump. At the roundabout take the third exit towards the M1, then at the second roundabout third exit onto Woodhead Lane. The car park can be found on the second turning about 300metres on your right.
Wombwell is the nearest town or village.
