Recreation at Brodsworth Community Woodland
 

This picturesque woodland is rapidly developing into one of the most attractive wildlife sites in the region. With its mixture of mature broadleaf woodlan, newly planted trees, large open meadows and a scenic wetland valley, Brodsworth is renowned for its diversity of wildlife. There are also some fascinating and intriguing sculptures nestling around the 99 hectare site. The woodland allows you to escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life ony a step away from your backdoor.

How to get there:

Doncaster is the nearest town or village.

By Road
Follow the A638 (Great Northern Road) away from Doncaster through Woodlands, after the shops you will go straight through one set of lights. Take next left onto Long Lands Lane. Follow road round a sharp bend to the right and take third road on your left, follow to the main car park (if you get to Markem Grange Nursey you have passed the site entrance).
By Bus
From Doncaster interchange take either the 78 walking five minutes from the Ridge Balk Lane/ Osborne Road stop in Woodlands (every 15 minutes)or the 203 to pickburn and walk across the A1 using the footbridge.
