Leafy, sheltered car park and picnic site, with information board detailing forest walks and points of interest.

How to get there:

Holystone Car Park is in Holystone which is part of Rothbury. Holystone village, Rothbury, and Newcastle are the nearest towns or villages.

Travelling west through Holystone village, the car park is situated about half a mile past the village on the right.

Lady's Well (Green Route)
Farm Walk (Orange Waymarkers)
Dove Crag (Red Waymarkers)
Educational Our Chopwell based Recreation Ranger, Laura Hull can run a range of National Curriculum based activities for school groups.
Wildlife Activities Holystone is great for Bird of Prey watching on the crags.
Heritage Fort on the Chillingham Estate.
