Rothbury
 

The forests of Rothbury cover an area of 10,500 hectares. The main forests are at Kidland, Uswayford, Harbottle, Thrunton and Harwood. Overlooked by the majestic Cheviot hill, these forests provide a lovely mixture of tree species, habitats and landscapes.

Details of walking routes and other general information about Hepburn, Simonside, Thrunton, Wooler Common and Holystone Woods are given in the leaflet. This publication is stocked by Rothbury and Alnwick Tourist Information Centres and by the Forestry Commission district office at Bellingham.
