Guisborough Forest and Walkway Visitor Centre
 

The visitor centre provides the ideal starting point for a visit to Guisborough Forest via Redcar & Cleveland Council's Walkway, a disused railway line. The Centre has displays about the the history and geology of the area and the forest. The centre sells local guide maps and is the starting point for many events organised by the local rangers.

How to get there:

Guisborough Forest and Walkway Visitor Centre is in Guisborough Forest. Guisborough is the nearest town or village.

The entrance to the visitor centre is about 300 metres along the A173 for its junction with the A171 just west of Guisborough. The entrance is signed.

The centre is a joint venture managed and run by Redcar & Cleveland Council. It is normally open Sundays and weekdays but not Saturdays.
