Recreation at Dalby Courtyard
Dalby Courtyard is the home to a variety of workshop units, offices and a cafe and bike hire business.
The workshop units provide a workspace for artists who can produce their crafts in an idyllic setting.
The courtyard is home to Rachel Gretton, kiln glass artist; Reflections, stained glass and jewellery artists; Vanessa Thompson, fabric and mosaic work; Artners, art studio and a wood turner. Gifts and commissions can be purchased from workshop units.
Offices located in the courtyard include: Taylored Systems and Websites Made Easy; RS Associates Ltd; Tourism Destination by Design; Purple Mountain Head Office and Paul Hampson, Action International.
The bike centre and cafe are run by Purple Mountain. The bike hire centre offers people who want to try out the new cycle trails within the forest, high quality bikes to suit all ages and abilities. For more information contact 01751 460011. The cafe can provide good, wholesome and locally sourced food. This is a friendly place to finish off a day's cycling in the forest.
