A lowland, mixed wood with a very long history. The whole wood is very flat, being situated in the Humberhead Levels.

How to get there:

Selby is the nearest town or village.

By road. Situated on the B1222 between Sherburn in Elmet and Cawood about 3 miles west of Selby.

Great woodland. Perfect for that Sunday afternonn stroll with the kids and dog. Good access for pushchair too. Plenty to look at [and hide in]. A real family pass time [fresh air really does seem to be the best 'sleeping pill' for the kids!!].
