The forest is still very beautiful. I wonder how much it will be affected if the plan by the Ministry of Justice to erect two 410 ft tall industrial wind turbines in the middle of it are approved.

My daughter loved exploring the forests and the squirrel hide was a lovely place and like an adventure. We had to wait a while and stay very quiet but we saw our first red squirrel. a lovely diverse forest, just what they should be like!

The current harvesting programme has spoilt my enjoyment of the forest. Having used the forest for many years, the wildlife sightings are much less than say 15 years ago.
