About Bolton's Bench Car Park
Situated on the edge of Lyndhurst, this car park provides a sunny, grassy location within strolling distance of the High Street, New Forest Museum and the New Forest itself.
It is a popular place to explore both Forest and village. Don't forget to give a donation at this car park towards the management of the Forest!
Bolton's Bench is named after the Duke of Bolton, who held the office of Master Keeper of Burley Baliwick throughout the eighteenth century. Walk to the top of the hill and admire a mosaic of habitats which make up the New Forest; heathland, woodland andgrassy lawns. You might even see ponies, cattle, and if you are, lucky, deer.

Bolton's Bench Car Park is in New Forest. Lyndhurst is the nearest town or village.
This is the closest car park to Lyndhurst village centre. It is located at the bottom of the High Street at the junction with the B3056.
