About Upperford Copse

Mature Beech trees offer the visitor a pleasant woodland walk at any time of the year. There is a stunning display of bluebells in the spring, which are well worth a visit.

The nearest toilet facilities, picnic tables and a bookable BBQ are in West Walk. Please take care when crossing Heath Road.

There is a link from the easy access trail to the old Meon Valley Railway line for the more adventurous user who may wish to access the wood from Wickham, or explore further into the Meon Valley.

How to get there:

Upperford Copse is part of Bere. Wickham is the nearest town or village.

From the A32 Meon Valley Road, north of Wickham.

Fantastic place to walk the dog. Not too many hills in this part of the forest.
