Upperford Copse
 

The 'Old Oak Trail' gives visitors the opportunity to explore this ancient wood.
The trail is not surfaced and is therefore not suitable for pushcairs or wheelchairs. In wet weather it will become muddy so suitable footwear should be worn.

The nearest toilet facilities and picnic tables are in the West Walk Car Park, please take care when crossing Hundred Acres Road.

How to get there:

Upperford Copse is part of Bere. Wickham is the nearest town or village.

What's of interest
There is a display of bluebells in the spring which are well worth a visit. Mature Beech trees offer the visitor a pleasant woodland walk at any time of the year. There is a link from the easy access trail to the old Meon Valley Railway line for the more adventurous user who may wish to access the wood from Wickham, or explore further into the Meon Valley.
