Recreation at Mayday

 

Mayday is a site of interest to naturalist, especially bird watchers all year round. The two mile walk includes open areas where it may be possible to see Goshawks and dense snowberry where the Golden Pheasant may be seen. The old pines are also a well known as a Crossbill area.

The Goshawk Trail was officially opened in March 2006.
