If you are serious about Mountain Biking,Thetford isnt for you...The red/black route needs proper investment,it seems a poor attempt at a trail (sorry FC). My biggest gripe is parking fees..Sherwood Pines and Glentress in scotland (the UK's ultimate and best trail centre) charge ■3 a day..Thetford charge ■11... for less... Why ?

High Lodge offers more than just mountain biking as its a destination for families with both natural and structured play, walking trails, cycle hire, high wire and junior tree top adventure, segways, cafe and toilets.

Car parking fees extortionate, because of this I would not visit again. Walking trails not very interesting.

Hi. We are coming to thetford forest in may for cycling staying nearby. Could you tell me please where i can park to cycle from and if there is a charge. Other people I know who have cycled there have given me places to park on tracks for free but I would rather park in a provided car park for safety so please advise the best places. thank you
