Blackdown Hills

The Blackdown Hills are designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Our woods form part of these hills and with areas of both ancient woodland and commercially managed forest they provide a rich and varied habitat for all sorts of wildlife, as well as being a place to enjoy for visitors.
Neroche is a Landscape Partnership Scheme supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund and a range of local organisations, led by the Forestry Commission, and covers the northern scarp of the Blackdown Hills. You will have noticed many changes taking place in the area recently - to find out more, and how you can get involved, visit the Neroche website on the link to the right.

How to get there:

Taunton and Corfe are the nearest towns or villages.

From Taunton follow the B3170 through Corfe to the Blackdown Hills.
