Shell Brook Wood
 

Shell Brook Wood is 65.7 hectares of former agricultural land that has been converted into a community woodland within The National Forest. Four small areas of existing woodland have been encorporated into a new plantation of mixed native broadleaves. A wetland plantation of willow, ash, aspen and black poplar and a riparian meadow are also on the site.

How to get there:

Shell Brook Wood is part of The National Forest. Ashby de la Zouch is the nearest town or village.

Access by foot only from Willesley Road just north of Willesley.
