Recreation at Forest Lodges
 

Made using FSC certified timber from sustainable sources four Forest Lodges are set in their own area of the blossoming woodland. Features of the self catering accomodation include central heating, double glazing, colour t.v., microwave, fridge, freezer, hob and oven. All of the Forest Lodges can be enjoyed by everyone; doors are wide enough for wheelchairs, kitchen surfaces with lowered tops, a wheelchair friendly shower, electric bed and a toilet with non-slip seat and hand rails. Chestnut Lodge is a four bedroom lodge catering for up to ten people. Three of the bedrooms are suitable for those in wheelchairs, the shower and toilets are specially adapted and the kitchen has height adjustable work surfaces. Emergency pull cords are fitted in all of the rooms. Cedar Lodge has three bedrooms sleeping ten people as well as dogs! Oak and Sycamore Lodges aslo have three bedrooms sleeping up to ten people with wheelchair friendly bathroom and kitchen facilities. Price for hire of the lodges varies depending on time of year. How to get there:

Forest Lodges is in Rosliston Wood which is part of The National Forest. Rosliston is the nearest town or village.

By road: Rosliston Forestry Centre is on the Rosliston to Burton road and is sign posted off the A444 at Castle Gresley. By bus: No.22 Arriva service from Swadlincote or Burton Mon-Sat.
