Revelin Moss

Sitting at the foot of Grisedale Pike, Revelin Moss is an area of "firsts". The first planting of coniferous trees by the newly formed Forestry Commission took place here in 1919 and now Revlin Moss is home to Europe's first permanent trail orienteering course. The Trail 'O' and its surounding network of paths offers some of the easiest walking at Whinlatter and is ideal for the very young, the not so-young and those who find some of the other walks too strenuous. Following well-maintained gravel paths, the route offers spectacular views of Grisedale Pike to those with pushchairs and wheelchairs.
