Cardinham Car Park
 

A large woodland car park greets you on entering Cardinham Woods which in itself will provide you with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the fresh air. From here you can start the many trails which wind through the woods, take a picnic by the peaceful stream, use the BBQ facilities or enjoy a warm drink in the cafe.

Walking trails

How to get there:

Cardinham Car Park is in Cardinham. Bodmin and Fletchers Bridge are the nearest towns or villages.

From Bodmin take the A38 towards Liskeard. 400 metres beyond the Carminnow Cross roundabout follow the brown tourist signs left and then left again into Cardinham Woods.

What's of interest
The mix of deciduous and coniferous tree species supports a great diversity of woodland plants and animals which can be discovered along the tracks and trails. The thickest part of the woods provides a sanctuary for both red and roe deer, whilst otters frequent the river.
