Access gate
 

Access to this quiet site is via the public footpath network to the side of the Forest Access gate off Hale Lane.

How to get there:

Access gate is in Baldwins (Wendover). St Leonards is the nearest town or village.

Located on the South side of the road from Wendover to St Leonards on the sharp left hand bend.

What's of interest
This quiet wood is a blend of conifer and broadleaf trees providing dappled shade in summer and greenery in winter. Grimm's ditch runs through the length of the wood and continues in sections through Wigginton to Albury in the North and down towards Great Hampden in the South. No parking is available but the wood is easily accessed via the public footpath network.
