Potton Wood
 

The wood has informal parking outside the main gate, from where you can walk up the track (beside the water tower). It is found on the road going east out of Potton village, towards Cockayne Hadley. Potton Wood is an ancient coppice woodland, and contains a rich range of plants and animals. It is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest.

How to get there:

Potton Wood is part of Ampthill Forest. Potton / Gamlingay is the nearest town or village.

Potton Wood is located by the water tower 2 miles due east of Potton Village on the Cockhayne Hatley road.
